Adding social profiles to your card

Social profiles appear as a row of icons on your card. Tapping one opens the linked profile in the visitor's app of choice. We support most of the networks you'd expect, plus a few you might not.

Adding a profile

  1. Open your card in the editor and find the Social Profiles section.
  2. Click Add Social Profile.
  3. Pick the network from the dropdown. The list includes LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, GitHub, Threads, Mastodon, Pinterest, Snapchat, Twitch, Discord, WhatsApp, Telegram, and several more.
  4. Paste in your profile URL. Most networks accept either a full URL (like https://linkedin.com/in/yourname) or just a username.
  5. Save.

Repeat for each profile you want to add. There's no limit.

Marking a preferred profile

Each profile has a Preferred toggle. Marking one as preferred pins it first in the icon row. Use this if you want a specific network (say, LinkedIn for a business card or Instagram for a creative card) to always be first.

Hiding a profile temporarily

Each profile also has a visibility toggle. Turn it off to hide a profile from your public card without deleting it. Useful if you're, say, taking a break from Twitter but don't want to lose the link.

What the icon looks like

Icons inherit your card's primary color by default. If you've set a separate social icon foreground color in the design section, that's used instead. Brand-accurate colors (the actual LinkedIn blue, Instagram gradient, etc.) aren't used because they'd clash with custom-branded cards.

Custom links that aren't social networks

If you want to link to a portfolio, a Substack, a blog, or some other URL that isn't a known social network, use the Websites section instead of Social Profiles. Websites appear as labeled buttons rather than icons.
