If you have several cards, you probably reach for one of them most of the time. Marking it as your favorite pins it to the top of the list in the iOS app, and it becomes the default in the slider view when you open the app to share quickly.
How to mark a favorite
- Open the businesscards.io iOS app.
- Find the card you want to mark.
- Swipe left on the card in the list.
- Tap the star icon that appears.
The card moves to the top of your list and a star indicator appears next to it. That's it.
Changing your favorite
To pick a different card, swipe left on the new one and tap the star. The old favorite gets unstarred automatically. Only one card is the favorite at a time.
To remove the favorite without picking another
Swipe left on the currently-favorited card and tap the star again. The star turns off.
What changes for the favorite
- It's always at the top of your card list.
- It's the default card shown in the slider/share view in the app, so you don't have to swipe to find it.
- In the dashboard on the web, the favorite has a small star indicator too, so they stay in sync.
Apple Wallet doesn't know about this
Favoriting a card in the app doesn't change the order of your Apple Wallet passes. Wallet uses its own ordering (typically most-recently-used first). If you want to reorder Wallet passes, that's done from inside the Wallet app, by long-pressing and dragging.
