Three image slots make a card feel professional: your headshot, your company logo, and (optionally) a background image. Each one is a separate upload.
Profile photo
Open the card editor and click your photo placeholder near the top. Pick a file from your computer or phone. A cropping tool opens. Drag the box to frame your face, then save.
- Use a square or nearly-square image. The crop tool produces a square no matter what you upload.
- Higher resolution is better. Aim for at least 800 by 800 pixels. We resize it down for display, so big originals look sharp on retina screens.
- A clear headshot tends to work best. If you'd rather not use a face, a clean logo is a solid alternative.
To replace the photo later, click it again and upload a new one. To remove it entirely, look for a small delete icon next to the upload.
Work logo
The logo for your company sits in the Work section of the editor, alongside the job title and company name. Click Upload logo on the work entry and pick an image.
- Transparent PNG or SVG works best, so the logo blends with your card background.
- Wide logos and square logos both work. The card displays whatever you upload, scaled to fit.
If you have multiple jobs on one card, each one can have its own logo.
Hero background image
The hero background is the banner that sits behind your profile photo at the top of the card. To set one, open the Design section in the editor and upload an image under Hero background.
- Wide images work best. Something around 1600 by 900 pixels is ideal.
- The hero gets cropped depending on the theme. Don't put anything important right at the edges.
- Subtle textures and brand-color washes look better than busy photos. Your face is the focal point; the background is supporting cast.
If you don't want a custom image, you can pick a hero pattern instead. Patterns use your primary color and give the top of the card some visual interest without you needing to find an image.
Image processing
Every image you upload gets resized to several display variants in the background. This takes a few seconds. If the preview still shows the old image right after uploading, refresh the page.
