A businesscards.io card holds a lot more than a printed card ever could. You don't have to fill everything in. A name, a photo, and one or two ways to reach you is plenty for most people. But if you want the full menu, here it is.
Identity
- First name, last name
- Name prefix (Dr., Prof., etc.) and suffix (PhD, Jr., etc.)
- Pronouns
- Headline (a one-line description, shown under your name)
- Bio / note (a longer paragraph about yourself)
- Birthday (private by default; you can show it if you want)
Photo and imagery
- Profile photo (cropped to a square)
- Hero background image (the banner behind your photo)
- Hero pattern (a textured overlay if you don't want a background image)
- Work logo (one per work position)
Contact info
- Emails: as many as you want, with types like work, home, school, iCloud, other
- Phone numbers: as many as you want, with types like mobile, home, work, iPhone, Apple Watch, fax, pager, main
- Addresses: home, work, school, other, with full postal info
- Websites: any URL, with categories so visitors know what to expect (portfolio, blog, store, etc.)
Each contact item can be marked "preferred" so it bubbles to the top.
Social profiles
Add links to your accounts on LinkedIn, Instagram, X (Twitter), Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, GitHub, Threads, and many more. Each one appears as an icon on your card.
Work and credentials
- Multiple work positions (job title + company, each with its own logo)
- Badges (certifications, awards, memberships) with custom icons
Multimedia
- YouTube or Vimeo video embed (Plus plan and above)
- Video title and description
Lead capture
- "Send me your info" contact-back form (configurable: which fields are required, whether to require company or title)
- Custom lead-capture forms on Plus and above
Visual customization
- Primary color, foreground color, alternate foreground color
- Page background color
- Button style (filled or outlined)
- Theme (multiple templates to pick from)
- Custom Apple Wallet colors on Team and above
- White-label option to remove businesscards.io branding (Team plan and above)

- Calendly button to let people book a meeting directly from your card
- Disclaimer text (legal text shown at the bottom of the card, if needed)
- Custom URL slug on Team and above
The card editor groups all of these into collapsible sections so you don't have to scroll past fields you're not using. If a section is empty, it doesn't show up on the public page.
