The iOS app has a dedicated Add to Apple Wallet action, so you don't need to scan QR codes or hunt around in the web dashboard. Two taps.
Steps
- Open the businesscards.io iOS app and sign in if you haven't.
- Find the card you want to add to Wallet in your card list.
- Tap the menu icon next to the card (usually three dots).
- Tap Add to Apple Wallet.
- Apple Wallet opens with a preview of your pass. Tap Add in the top right.
Your pass is now in Wallet.
If you have more than one card
Each card needs to be added to Wallet separately. There's no limit on the number of passes you can have in Wallet, so you can add all of them. You swipe between passes once Wallet is open.
Updating the pass after editing your card
You don't need to re-add the pass. When you edit your card (change a phone number, swap a photo, etc.), the pass in Wallet updates automatically the next time it's surfaced. The QR code on the pass always points to your live card, so even if Wallet hasn't refreshed yet, scanning it works fine.
If you don't see the option
Make sure your iOS app is up to date. Older versions had this action buried in a different menu. The current version puts it in the card's three-dot menu directly. If you still don't see it, log out and back in to refresh.
